Terms and Conditions for Dr Taruna Jamalamadaka - Clinical Psychology Services

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the clinical psychology services ("Services") provided by
Dr Taruna Jamalamadaka - Clinical Psychology Services ("we", "us", "our"), including any related website, applications, and content provided by our service. By accessing or using our online platform, including using our website or engaging with our services, you ("you", "your", "Client", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. Services Provided

Dr Taruna Jamalamadaka - Clinical Psychology Services offers clinical psychology services, including but not limited to:

- Online therapy sessions (individual, couples, family therapy)
- Psychological assessments and evaluations
- Counselling for mental health concerns
- Psychological testing and diagnosis 
- Mental health coaching and support
- Other related clinical psychology services as specified on the platform

These services are provided by licensed professionals who have qualifications in clinical psychology and are in good standing with relevant regulatory bodies.

2. Eligibility To use our Services, you must:

- Be at least 18 years old.
- Ensure that any information provided to us (including through our website or platform) is accurate and truthful.

If you are under 18, you must have consent from a parent or guardian to use our Services. If we find that a user is underage and using our services without such consent, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate their access.

3. User Account

To access certain Services, you may be required to create an account with Dr Taruna Jamalamadaka - Clinical Psychology Services by providing accurate information such as your name, email address, and phone number.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breaches of your account. You must ensure that the information provided is complete, accurate, and up-to-date at all times.

4. Booking, Payment, Delivery and Cancellation Policy for Clinical Psychology Sessions

i. Booking Policy:
- All sessions must be booked in advance through our official website or designated booking platform.
- A valid email address and phone number are required to confirm your appointment.
- Appointments can be scheduled as per availability, and you will receive a confirmation email upon successful booking.

ii. Payment Policy:
- Full payment for the session is required at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other accepted online payment methods.
- A payment link will be provided upon booking confirmation, and a receipt will be sent after the payment is processed.
- Please ensure that the payment is completed before the 24-hour deadline to avoid cancellation of your session.

iii. Delivery Policy:

- Our services are delivered entirely through digital means (e.g., video, phone, or text communication).

- As such, there are no physical goods or products to be delivered to you.

- All services are intangible and are provided solely in the form of professional advice, guidance, or support.

 

iv. Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to avoid a cancellation fee.
- If you cancel your session more than 24 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule without any additional charges.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee.
- No-shows or failure to attend the session without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the full session fee. - Any requests for rescheduling must also adhere to the 24-hour notice requirement.

v. Exceptional Circumstances:
- In cases of medical emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will review such requests on a case-by-case basis and may provide exceptions to the cancellation fee.

5. Confidentiality and Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. All information shared with us is confidential, subject to the following conditions:
- Clinical notes, records, and other communications may be kept for a period as required by law or our ethical obligations.
- We may disclose information if required by law or when there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, including cases of abuse or threats to safety.
- We employ reasonable technical measures to protect the security of your personal data. However, no system can guarantee complete security, and we cannot be held liable for any unauthorized access. For detailed information about how your data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. Online Sessions and Communication

- Online therapy sessions are conducted through video conferencing, phone calls, or chat, depending on the platform’s capabilities and the client’s preferences.
- You must ensure you have a stable internet connection and access to compatible devices (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone) for the online sessions.
- While we strive to provide high-quality services, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free communication due to the nature of internet-based services.
- By using our services, you consent to virtual communications.
- We do not provide in-person consultations, unless explicitly stated.

7. Limitations of the Service

- Our Services are not intended to replace emergency or urgent care.
- If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need immediate assistance, please contact emergency services or visit the nearest hospital.
- Our online platform may not be suitable for clients with certain severe mental health conditions (e.g., psychosis, severe self-harm behaviour).
- We reserve the right to assess and, if necessary, refer clients to appropriate in-person care or specialist services.

8. Professional Standards and Ethics

Our licensed professionals adhere to the ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the relevant professional bodies (e.g., the Health and Care Professions Council, The British Association of Behavioural an Cognitive Psychotherapists).

We aim to provide the highest standard of care, but cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from therapy or counselling.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources available on the platform, including written articles, videos, images, and other educational materials, are the intellectual property of Dr Taruna Jamalamadaka - Clinical Psychology Services and are protected by copyright laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any of the content or materials from our platform without prior written consent from Dr Taruna Jamalamadaka - Clinical Psychology Services.

10. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion, including if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that is harmful or disruptive to the platform, our service providers, or other users.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, you will no longer have access to your account or any paid services.
